A Heat Pump / Mini-Split is at type of air conditioning system that does not require ductwork to cool or heat a space. It consists of an outdoor unit known as a condenser and one or more indoor units known as heads that can be mounted on walls or ceilings to provide efficient temperature control.

The Mini-Split head unit is controlled with a remote or can be setup with an ecobee smart thermostat where the temperature monitoring is done at the level where the rooms occupants are and a schedule can be set to conserve on energy usage and also monitored and configured on the ecobee app.
